Meaning -
Job descriptions are written statements that describe the:
- Particulars of the Client Company.
- Work Location, Days and Timings

- Responsibilities
- Most important contributions and outcomes needed from a position
- Required qualifications of candidates
- Reporting relationship and co workers of a particular job.
Need -
- It clearly defines the expectations of a certain role.
- It helps to give a proper understanding of the position, responsibility and the level.
- It helps consultants to explain the job well to the candidates.
Usage - The JD is used in the below places:
- To understand the job well. A JD is to be mentioned in a proper RM format.
- A brief JD is to be taken from the Client Delivery Manager which is to be written in the RM format.
- A soft copy as well as a hard copy needs to be made by the consultant.
- For explaining and sending the details to the candidates for their understanding.
- A hard copy of the JD to be attached when the invoice is raised of a joined candidate.

Organization Mapping
Meaning -
An organizational map is a diagram that shows the structure of an organization as well as the relationships and relative ranks of its positions.
Need -
- Organization charts are an effective way to communicate organizational, employee and enterprise information.
- It helps us to understand the company structure and the hierarchy structure of the organization
- It helps us to understand the position
- On the company's front it helps them to position themselves to the employees

- While talking to the candidate
- While sending the brief details to the candidate

Company Study
Meaning -
Company study means studying the whole company / client for which you are working. Going through the WEBSITE and RECENT UPDATE about the company.
Need -
- Helps to find the right candidates for the company
- Helps to gain information about the company and industry
- Helps to convince the candidates
Usage -
- Company study is used as the first and the foremost process to be followed.
- As soon as you come across a JD, you should go through the company website first.
- Understand the company and its position into the market. It helps to share knowledge with candidates.
Understand the role & responsibility
Meaning -
Role and Responsibility of the candidate is to be understood for any requirement to be closed with the right candidate.
Need -
- Role & responsibilities are needed to be understood so that we can give a proper view of the same to the candidates.
- It helps the consultant to sell and explain the job well to the candidate.
- It helps the candidate to understand the expectations from the client.
Usage -
- Proper brief of Role & Responsibility should be maintained in the Job Description form.
- There should be a mail from the consultant to the candidate about the Role & Responsibility to handle for the given opportunity.
